I love it when Khan is oblivious while trying to be intelligent. It reminds me of… me.

For some reason I really enjoy drawing Gil sleeping. It has this very classy comic strip moment to it. I’m weird, I know.

You’ll also notice that most of this arc is done in color. I was experimenting. I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing them all in color and I wanted to see how long a color one would take me in comparison with the black/white/grays. Yeah… it took like 3 times longer because I have to be really picky about my colors and i always want to play around with it. So I’m instead saving the colored ones for holidays.

I’ve also been kicking around the idea of doing Sundays in the typical sunday size and style. I have one done… but holy shit is a pain in the ass. I actually don’t have paper big enough to draw it in. I want to draw it even bigger than what I have already done just because I want better detail.

I love this strip.

This fly character originally comes from a flash animation that i did. It was the company logo screen and I had this fly with a knife chasing down a frog that was running away. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would have.

The Great Khan was the strip of the week for October 29th! I didn’t even have a clue. It’s always a cool feeling to get recognized.
