Yeah… I know.  It’s pretty gross. I think the last 3 years of being a dog owner and picking up dookie every day has ruined my brain.

The fight is getting uglier and Mark obviously has something up his sleeve.

I found a comic online called “The Meek”.  It’s fantastic!  It’s almost manga, but not quite.  It has, hands down, the best coloring I have ever scene and his characters are so animated and interesting.  So after looking at this wonderous comic, i am inspired to try to make my own even better.  Especially the coloring.  Enjoy!

First page!  I’ve been looking forward to doing this page for a long time.  Partially because I wanted to do the lighting effects of the TV and the other part being… well… I can’t tell you that.  Not yet.  But if you have been paying attention so far you will, hopefully, get another clue.

Another note about this page.  The clothes that the young RR is wearing is very reminiscent of the clothes I use to wear as a kid.  A shirt of a primary color, shorts, converses and mismatched sock.  And like Rabid you would often find me plopped in front of the old school TV, chowing down on a bowl of Kix and bathing myself in the radiation of saturday morning cartoons.

Not that much has changed at 32.

Don’t ask me why I keep popping these things out (yeah… I’m giving birth to a comic book ha ha), but it’s very satisfying.  This cover didn’t turn out how I imagined it, but it’s just as good.  Stay tuned to get bloody…

So Rabid has a brother!  An evil brother to boot (no, this is not commentary on my own brother… everyone knows I’m the evil one anyways).  I’m excited for the next issue because it starts to reveal some of Rabid’s history and there’s going to be tons of action to draw.  Which is good I think because this last issue, in my opinion, has been a bit wordy.  Not that I dislike wordy, but I don’t think a lot of people like reading comics as much as they like looking at the art.  But… I guess i care about story and art so…

This isn’t my favorite page so far, but I was sick this last week so I blame it’s integrity on that.  Not that I think it’s a horrible page by any means, but it definitely did not turn out the way I wanted it to.  This is the second to last page in this issue.  One more left for a cliff hanger and psuedo splash page and then on to issue number six!  I’m on my way to catching up with all of my rough drafts and getting the continuity to match up with my brother’s comic!
